Helena JAY
Owner / Artist
Helena Jay is an international artist based in London. Through her work, she explores ideas of ecological philosophy and connectivity. A strong believer that everyone and everything is connected, she now more than ever feels the need to explore this even further.
Art is Helena’s way of communicating to the world. Helena’s work is powered with energy and emotion. Passionate about semiotics, she includes a lot of hidden symbols and meanings within her paintings.
Her abstract works are bold and colourful, often dominated by blues. For her, blue represents the peace and tranquillity she would like to reign in her mind and in the world, and hopes others feel this also.
Her unique painting style is composed of multi-dimensional layers that draw viewers in by continuously revealing masked details. Hidden messages are included in all of her pieces, inviting the viewer to interpret the symbols and question their meaning. Her abstract collections have most recently been exhibited in London, Madrid, Lake Constance, Austria and Florence. Helena is now working on her new collection which focuses on freeing the observer's mind into new dimensions of interpretation.
